Pre-employment Screening Process
At Steele Memorial Medical Center, we are committed to hiring qualified professionals who align with our values and mission. As part of our process, all pre-employment screenings begin only after an official offer of employment has been extended. This process is mandatory, and the new hire must successfully complete all required screenings before they are eligible to start employment.
Screening includes but is not limited to:
- Reference checks - Verification of past employment and professional recommendations.
- Background Checks - Review of employment history, criminal record and licensure requirements.
- Drug Screening - Successful completion of a 10-panel drug test ensuring compliance with workplace safety standards
