Preparing for birth can feel overwhelming, but you do not have to do it alone. Join Steele Memorial Medical Center for a supportive and informative childbirth education class designed to help expecting parents and their support persons feel more prepared, empowered, and confident as they approach labor, delivery, and the first moments with their baby.

During the class, participants will learn:

• What to expect during labor and delivery
• Comfort and coping techniques for a positive birth experience
• How to transition into the golden hour after birth
• What to expect during your baby’s first hours
• Information about the labor unit, birthing rooms, and care team

Participants will also have an opportunity to tour the labor unit and meet members of the birth team.
