Program Outline:
The Steele Memorial Foundation Scholarship Program aims to support students who are currently enrolled in or have been accepted into an accredited healthcare program. The program seeks to alleviate financial barriers and encourage students to pursue careers in healthcare.

Scholarship Coverage:

  • Tuition & Required Fees: The scholarship will cover tuition and eligible required fees, which will be paid directly to the academic institution.
  • Scholarship Payment Amount: Each full-time student may receive up to $2,000 per semester for the academic year.

Who is Eligible:
To qualify for a Steele Memorial Foundation scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  1. Residency:
    • Be a current resident of Lemhi County or Custer County, or
    • Have graduated from a high school or GED program in Lemhi or Custer County.
  2. Academic Enrollment:
    • Be enrolled or accepted for enrollment as a full-time student in an accredited healthcare-related program.
    • Begin healthcare-related coursework no later than the fall semester of the academic year.
  3. Application Submission:
    • Provide a complete application by the specified deadline. - Deadline is March 15, 2025
