Steele Memorial Medical Center and Community Donate $500 to Salmon Senior Center

Salmon, Idaho — Steele Memorial Medical Center (SMMC), together with generous community members, proudly donated $500 to the Salmon Senior Center, supporting programs and services that benefit local seniors throughout Lemhi County.

The total donation represents $196 contributed by community members, which Steele Memorial Medical Center supplemented with an additional $304 to bring the total contribution to $500. The donation was formally presented during a check presentation held at the Salmon Senior Center.

“This donation is a reflection of both community generosity and our hospital’s commitment to caring for seniors beyond our walls,” said Jenny Tracy, Community Relations & Marketing Director at Steele Memorial Medical Center. “By working together, we were able to amplify community contributions and provide meaningful support to the Salmon Senior Center.”

Funds donated will help support meal programs, activities, and services that promote wellness, independence, and social connection—particularly important during the winter months.
