Joe Krakker , DO

Family Practice, Obstetrics

Dr. Joe Krakker grew up in Idaho, fostering a love for the outdoors through camping and river adventures. He earned his undergraduate degree in Cell Biology and Neuroscience at Montana State University, where he also worked as a ski instructor and a wildland firefighter with the Boise Hotshots.

Dr. Krakker attended medical school at Rocky Vista University in Colorado, where he participated in the Wilderness and Rural Medicine track. He also traveled to Kenya during his third year of medical school as part of a surgical and medical team, an experience that inspired his passion for family medicine and comprehensive rural care.

Outside of work, Dr. Krakker enjoys backpacking, mountain biking, and winter sports with his family. His commitment to rural healthcare and personalized patient relationships makes him a valued part of our team.

Isaac Sairs , DO

Family Practice, Obstetrics

Dr. Isaac Sairs, a Family Practice OB Physician, brings a wealth of experience and training to Steele Memorial Medical Center. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, Dr. Sairs began his academic journey with a degree in Computer Science from Rice University. After discovering a passion for working directly with people, he transitioned to teaching, which allowed him to connect with communities in Bangladesh and Bolivia.

Inspired by the healthcare needs he witnessed, Dr. Sairs pursued medicine at Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C. He completed his residency in Family Medicine at McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, where he fell in love with the Mountain West. To deepen his expertise, he completed a fellowship in Surgical Obstetrics at the University of Tennessee in Memphis.

In his free time, Dr. Sairs enjoys reading, playing music, cooking, hiking, and skiing. He is thrilled to serve the families of Salmon, blending his love of rural medicine with his commitment to providing patient-centered, comprehensive care.
