At Steele Memorial Medical Center, our mission is to provide compassionate, high-quality healthcare to every person we serve. As part of that commitment, we conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) every three years to better understand the health challenges, barriers, and priorities of our region.
What is a CHNA?
A Community Health Needs Assessment is a systematic process that evaluates the overall health status and needs of our local population. It incorporates community surveys, public health data, and feedback from residents, healthcare providers, local leaders, and organizations. This allows us to identify key health concerns and opportunities for improvement.
Why it Matters
The CHNA informs how we plan our services, direct our resources, and collaborate with partners. It helps us:
